WearMaxx is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your personal information. We only collect data necessary to provide and improve our service.
2. Data We Collect
We collect the following data: account information (name and email address), garment images you upload, AI-generated outfit images, wardrobe metadata (categories, colors, tags), usage data (feature interactions, generation counts), and subscription information (plan type, billing status). We do not collect data beyond what is needed to deliver the service.
3. Image Processing
When you upload garment images, they are processed by our AI to detect the garment, remove the background, and classify it by category, fit, and color. Processed images are stored on secure cloud infrastructure. Images are stored in their original and processed forms to provide the service. Your images are not used to train AI models.
4. AI Services
WearMaxx uses third-party AI services provided by Google for garment classification, outfit generation, and styling recommendations. When AI processing is triggered, relevant image data is sent to Google for analysis. Google's use of this data is governed by their own privacy policy. We minimize the data sent to only what is necessary for each task.
5. Authentication & Sessions
We use email and password authentication. Passwords are securely encrypted and never stored in readable form. Session cookies are used to maintain your login state and expire automatically after a period of inactivity.
6. Payments
Payment processing is handled by Polar. We do not store your payment card details. Polar processes and stores payment information according to their own privacy policy. We only retain your subscription status and billing period for service delivery.
7. Cookies & Local Storage
WearMaxx uses essential cookies for authentication and language preferences. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Local storage may be used to remember your in-app selections. You can clear cookies and local storage through your browser settings.
8. Error Tracking
We use Sentry for error monitoring to identify and fix bugs. Sentry may collect anonymized technical error data when issues occur. This data is used solely for service reliability and is not used for marketing or profiling.
9. Third-Party Services
WearMaxx integrates with the following third-party services: Google (AI processing), Cloudflare (image storage), Polar (payment processing), and Sentry (error monitoring). Each service has its own privacy policy governing their data handling practices. We encourage you to review their respective policies.
10. Data Retention
Your account data and uploaded content are retained as long as your account is active. When you delete a garment or outfit, it is permanently removed from our storage. Upon account deletion, all associated data (images, metadata, preferences, generated outfits) is permanently deleted within 30 days.
11. Your Rights
You have the right to: access all data we hold about you, delete your account and all associated data, export your garment images and wardrobe data, correct inaccurate personal information, and withdraw consent for data processing (which may limit service functionality). To exercise these rights, contact us or use the account management features in the app.
12. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted data transmission, secure credential storage, abuse prevention mechanisms, and regular security reviews. While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no system is completely secure.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our service evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the service. Continued use of WearMaxx after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
